 “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved.”  Ephesians 1:5, 6

  
PURPOSE of B.B.A.A.:  To provide Christian fellowship for adults and children who have the common bond of adoption as well as to reinforce God’s purpose in each person’s adoption story.

 

The Blessed By Adoption Alliance began in September of 2005 with their first annual Family Potluck Picnic.  It was such a blessing to gather together with others who share the common bond of adoption, that we decided to continue meeting on a regular basis.  Since the Potluck Picnic, we have enjoyed a Holiday Happening, an adult dessert fellowship and a play day for our children.  God has also directed in building relationships with those looking to adopt a baby into their family as well as guiding us into friendships with ladies who are exploring the option of placing their baby for adoption.  We truly believe that God has a special place in His Heart for adoption, and we are so excited to share this wonderful part of our lives with you!

 

Why Do We Do What We Do?

For the children 
  1. That they may celebrate adoption with other children 
  2. That they may have opportunity to associate with Christian adult adoptees who can influence the children for God
For the adult adoptees
  1. To provide opportunity to build friendships with others who share the common bond of adoption
  2. To provide opportunity to be positive role models for the children
For the adoptive parents & grandparents
  1. To give them opportunity to celebrate their children
  2. To open lines of communication with their children
  3. To create a learning support network of Christian adult adoptees and adoptive parents who have godly insight regarding adoption  

Help for Other Churches

We have a future vision of fellowshipping with other churches and helping start adoption ministries in their church as the Lord leads them.  How wonderful to see our common bond of adoption reach outward to our brothers and sisters in Christ and then to reach the community with God’s desire to adopt them into His eternal Family!

Help for Prospective Adoptive Parents

The committee of Blessed by Adoption Alliance at North Love Baptist Church truly has a heart to help support and provide information for couples who are looking into adoption and going through the process of adoption.

Help for Birth Parents

We will walk beside you in your journey as you explore your options regarding adoption and choosing life for your baby.  We will point you to the resources and help you along the way through friendship and prayer.

Counseling Help for Adoption Related Issues

If you would like to talk with our counselor regarding your adoption or the adoption of your child, we have a highly qualified, Godly husband and wife team to assist you.
